Love. Life.

Kaylani, Rebecca, Manzy, and Me at Hukilau Beach across the street from my house :)

Time to update I guess.... it's only been like three months. Woops. But life has just gone by so fast!! Which is definitely a good thing.

Okay so I love life in Hawaii. So much. I tell everyone that I don't think I've been anywhere else where it's more of a fit for me. I've had so many awesome adventures there and made so many close friends. What I think I love the most though is the mentality and how people live in Hawaii. Their priorities are so right! Everyone loves everyone, there's no judging, family/friends come first, no gossiping, no comparing materialistic things, and only the really important things are actually important! I just feel like my whole life I've been searching to live that way, and now I get to, which is such a breathe of fresh air.

I've really had such a blast in Hawaii and loved every minute of it. Below are some pictures from some of my grand adventures. On July 20th I flew home, which was kind of crazy! It felt so weird when I got off the plane, even though I'd only been gone for four months. But I decided to come home for "First Term" for six weeks because I got offered work and we had three family reunions that I knew I didn't want to miss out on. When I got off the plane I couldn't breathe because of the elevation! And I was freezing even though it was 80-something degrees outside... it's just super dry compared to the humidity I'm used to. But I was glad to be home with family and friends of course.

At first I was a little sad and worried about coming home because I didn't want to get bored, which is pretty easy to do in Reno. But I have to say I haven't been bored once while here! That probably has something to do with the fact that I made 2 road trips to Idaho and Utah and had one Altom reunion, one Bench reunion, and one immediate family reunion. Also, my best friend Danny was conveniently home so I got to actually spend a lot of time with her, which I was so glad about because we haven't got to spend much time together in awhile. Chase and Lauren and Maddox were also home for all of August because Chase needed to study for his second step of board exams for medical school, which he just took last week. So I got to spend a lot of time with Lauren and Maddox which was so much fun!! We spent a lot of time at Lake Tahoe, which was much needed :)

I can't believe it's already been six weeks and that in a week from tomorrow I'll be heading back to my paradise. Tomorrow we're actually making a trip to San Francisco to go drop my car off at a port to be shipped to Hawaii! That will change my life so much over there, it will give me so much freedom. I also love San Francisco and we're going to Stinson Beach too, which is one of my favorite places ever, so I'm excited to make this last little trip! Here are (a lot of) pictures from the last couple weeks:

That's me on top of the cliff about to jump! This is right next to the highway.

Me and Amber at Laie Temple when she came to visit.

Christian (being goofy), Rebecca, Chad, Alex, Isaac, Me, Manzy, and Atif- all amazing friends!

We hiked to this beach and camped on it! Yokohama Bay.

So gorgeous.
Mike (our friend from Sweden), John, Me, Christian, and Alex on our way back from the bay.

Sam, Henry, and Luke. So precious.

Our tent in the backyard for the Altom immediate family reunion.

Yes, that is all of my family. Love Lake Tahoe.

Besides the weird nose I have from the sun in this pic, I'd say I look like my siblings... not!

Me and Lauren at Swensen's. yum.

Maddox's famous "Elvis Face" haha.

In Minnetonka Caves at the Bench Family Reunion in Bear Lake. Awesome!

The Three Amigos! a.k.a. Danny, me, and Chance at Parker's band CRUSH('s) concert.
